IN LOVING MEMORY
Isaac and Gertrude Risman

This container is lovingly dedicated to my parents, Gertrude and Isaac Risman. Their lives were rooted in family, faith, and service, and their legacy continues to guide us today.
The Pride of Lynn Cemetery holds a profound place in our family’s story. My grandfather was among its founders, and our family has remained deeply involved for generations. My father, Isaac, devoted countless hours of volunteer service here, ensuring the cemetery was cared for with dignity and respect. My older sister, Nancy Hamlin, continues that commitment as a board member, carrying forward his dedication. Even I had the privilege of contributing, spending a college summer helping to renovate the chapel—a memory that still fills me with pride.
Now, with both my parents and much of my family interred here, this sacred ground is more than a resting place—it is a living testament to our family’s devotion and love. Through this container, I honor Gertrude and Isaac’s memory, their generosity, and the enduring spirit of service they instilled in us all.
With love,
Barbara Risman
