Kaelan Mateo Mondragon
Once upon a time, not long ago, there lived a young man with a huge heart, goofy smile and an enormous capacity for love. Our son, Kaelan Mateo Mondragon, passed away on March 28, 2013 at the very young age of 16. He was a beautiful boy with an infectious smile; affectionate to the point of annoyance (to some anyway). Kaelan loved to wrap all 6’4″ of himself around you. At the time of his death he was a high school junior and a member of the varsity volleyball team. Kaelan had an amazing ear for music, loved the Red Hot Chili Peppers and played bass guitar by ear. He is in our thoughts each and every day, and always will be. He and our loss of him, are a large part of what makes us – us.
